Sealed bids for Street Improvements, CDBG Project No. SM-CM-PF-24-001 will be received by the Town of Frisco City at the Town Hall until 10:30 A.M., Thursday, May 8, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
A NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. via virtual videoconferencing. Anyone interested in joining the videoconference should contact Cody Anderson at cody@civilse.com prior to Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 5:00 P.M., for instructions to join the meeting.
Principal items of work include approximately 2,615 tons of asphalt wearing surface and related appurtenances.
To be eligible for consideration, bids must be submitted on complete original proposals made available by the owner. Bid documents (including plans and proposals) are available through the Civil Southeast digital plan room at www.civilseplanroom.com/. Purchase of bid documents is required to be added to the official plan holders list. Civil Southeast is not responsible for 3rd party document distribution. Bid documents are on file at the Town Hall, Ariton, Alabama. No bid documents will be distributed later then 24 hours prior to the scheduled opening of bids.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
Each bidder must deposit, with its bid, security in the amount of, form of, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
Each bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1985, and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
